Film Name Poll

In class we decided that we are each going to produce a poll on our blog as research for our coursework. We can then use the feedback from our target audience to decide, what we can do to attract our audience the most. The poll I have decided to create is a poll on film names. From the other thrillers I have analysed the names of the film is usually one or two words which are easy to remember. It's essential that the film name has relevance to our plot to give or audience an idea of the story, but without giving away to much of it. The film names Im going to include in my poll are:

(The) Fury: This has relevance to our plot as Dean is anxious to get Mia back, whereas she feels furious at Dean and wants her boyfriend back. So therefore it emphasises that the plot is based on revenge and fury.
Reverie: This is relevant to our plot as its Mia's worst nightmare come to life. Its a very unique name, which would attract our audience. Its also anchors the caption Shanyse came up with for the trailer. 'What would you do if someone you were once perfectly in love with'....'became your worst nightmare'
(The) Missing: This suggest that someone’s gets missing it the film, this is clearly relevent to our plot as Mia's boyfriend goes missing.
Lost: This has huge relevance to our plot as it suggest that someone has disappeared and is unable to be found.
Apprehension: This is relevant name for our plot as a tragic thing has happened, and it is very catchy and unique name.
Poisoned Mind: I think this would be a very good name for our film as it suggests our film is a thriller to our audience but at the same time it is very mysterious. Also it is similar to other thriller film names such as 'Perfect Stanger' and ‘Panic Room’
Reprisal: This indicates that the film has a strong or violent retaliation, which is premises of our plot.
Death Count: It is very catchy and thrilling name for a film. This is relevant to our plot as Mia has a time limit to save Brett.
