In March Me, Leyla, Hollie & Shanyse decided that we were going to resubmit our coursework in order to improve our overall grades. We plan to achieve this by making alterations to our final movie trailer, add more information to our blogs and redo our evaluation in order to achieve as much marks as possible.
The audience feedback from our final trailer indicated that our trailer was very repetitive, which my group decided was the main drawback of our trailer. In order to overcome this problem we plan to film the phone conversation of the protagonist side which we were unable to film the first time round. This also means that we could use the split screen affect we originally wanted to use, to appeal to our audience as it is used in the Taken trailer I analysed. We are also going to remove some repetitive or unnecessary shots such as the various shots of the villain before the phone conversation and the shots of the male protagonist being tortured in a dark room. We may also reduce the amount of shots used of the female protagonist running around London in order to reduce the repetitiveness of our trailer.
