We spent today planning and filming a chase sequence. In order to do this we watched a chase sequence from a film, to help inspire us and to decide the filming and editing techniques we should use. So unlike our previous task we did not have a guided script. From doing this we as a group concluded that the editing was fast paced, a variety of camera shot were used and the non-digetic sound (music) was used to create suspense. Another important factor we noticed was that the 2 characters in the chase scene were rarely present on shot at the same time. This meant that the actors used also had a chance to film. We also produced are own script to help guide us through the sequence.
Due to the lack of time we had to produce this sequence, the only location we had access too was the school. So it was a task in itself to prevent our footage from feeling like it was filmed on a school campus. However for this project we had access to a tripod so we were able to maintain a steady shot and make it appear more professional looking. The only problem we had today was that the camera battery ran out so we had to schedule another day to film the rest of the sequence.

Today we shot the rest of our sequence however there was continuality issues as the chaser was wearing different clothing. So therefore we did not use various shots towards the end. This ended up creating mysterious effect. As the viewer does not know what happened and who killed who. Other problems we noticed after producing our sequence was that there was backlighting problems and various shots were outside the 'Rule of Thirds'
