Film Trailers Summary

After analysing my chosen movie trailers, I came up with many criteria’s that are essential in order to attract my group’s audience:

• To keep are audience interested we need to make sure that as the trailer continues it gets more intense. This means using fast paced editing while the music gets faster when there is action on screen present.
• Another important aspect is to make the film trailer viewer believe what they are seeing. Make the film trailer the audience’s worst fear. The acting must be to a high standard for this to be achieved.
• Leave the viewer guessing by leaving a lot of dead ends to add suspense to the trailer. Make the viewer want to know what is happening and why?
• In order to create atmosphere it is essential to build tension. This is an important element of selling the film.
